According to birdguides.com Marks & Spencer is launching a "Make Butterflies Count" campaign in association with the charity Butterfly Conservation. This brings together a number of initiatives, from raising public awareness, conducting the UK's largest ever butterfly count, and helping their own supplier farmers to improve habitats for butterflies. They are also aiming to be Britain's most eco-tastic sustainable retailer by 2015. Let's hope that the rest of the high street doesn't make it easy for them to achieve this aim.
